Returns & Refund Policy

Returns

Thank You for your Order.  We do not accept returns as these are perishable items and are shipped frozen and received frozen or cold between 32°F or cold at 45°F or below. If you  received the wrong item-discard it and we shall reship the correct item. Please contact us at jikonjoe@gmail.com with order number, date, name and issue.

Refunds:

Any Jikonijoe order which is delayed or failed to deliver on time due to UPS ( Shipping) or weather related circumstances will be refunded 100% or we can reship the items involved. Our customer service representatives will track each order and notify you if there is an inclement weather delay that causing the products to arrive at the  destination when the content are deemed inedible or spoiled to due weather i.e If we ship and item that ships via 3 day select on Monday and it is delayed with 1 day but arrives on Friday-that product is still safe and edible as we pack our product with dry ice and gel packs to maintain temperatures below 45F° & 32F°.

However, if UPS fails to deliver within that week/ or the items arrives thawed out and 3 days past the expected delivery date (set by UPS when they receive the item int heir possession), then we shall issue a full refund or reship at our expense. We acknowledge proof of delivery via UPS or courier tracking that is available via tracking information provided during  shipping.

Do not consume sausages that are warm, hot or unfit for human consumption. If for one reason or the other the public carriers (UPS, FEDEX, Canada-post etc.) delay delivery whereby the tracking information shows that the products have spent more than 5 days in transit, please do not consume these products.

We ship on Mondays and Tuesdays (sometimes other days depending on the order & destination) and all orders need to arrive during the same calendar week.

Ice Packs and Dry Ice do not last forever and if you receive damaged products you must take video & photographic proof within 2 hours of receipt so that we can initiate claims etc. Again: DO NOT CONSUME product that we have expressly told you to discard because the carrier delayed the product beyond our control and you know that you are getting another duplicate order!!!

Any issue with an order needs to be communicated within 2 hours upon delivery by the carrier i.e. UPS FedEx, Canada Post Etc. to discuss refunds or exchanges.

We only ship on Mondays Tuesdays and Wednesday. Orders received after Wednesday noon shall be shipped the following Monday.

Safe Handling Instructions

This product was prepared from inspected and passed meat and/or poultry. Some food products may contain bacteria that could cause illness if the product is mishandled or cooked improperly. For your protection, follow these safe handling instructions.

  • Keep refrigerated or frozen. Thaw in refrigerator or microwave.
  • Keep raw meat and poultry separate from other foods. Wash working surfaces (including cutting boards), utensils, and hands after touching raw meat or poultry.
  • Cook thoroughly.
  • Keep hot foods hot. Refrigerate leftovers immediately or discard
